Robert E. Persely Jr.
President and Managing Member
Robert (“Bob”) Persely is the Founder and Managing Member of BMO Logistics LLC. He is a retired United States Marine Corps Chief Warrant Officer-4 with more than twenty-three (23) years of Active-Duty service and over forty (40) years of experience in maintenance, logistics, sustainment, and life cycle management.
During his military career, Bob served in maintenance and logistics assignments around the world, including service in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. His experience spans tactical, operational, and strategic levels of logistics management, providing him with a unique perspective on the challenges organizations face in maintaining readiness and sustaining critical assets.
The name BMO Logistics originates from Bob’s service as a Battalion Maintenance Officer (BMO). Pronounced “Bee-Moe,” BMO was both his position and call sign during deployment. The name reflects the company’s foundation in practical maintenance management, logistics planning, and mission-focused support. Bob established BMO Logistics in 2015 as a professional consulting practice and formally organized the business as BMO Logistics LLC in 2026 to expand its capabilities and better serve government and commercial clients.
Following his military retirement, Bob continued serving the defense community as a U.S. Army civilian and industry professional. His positions included Configuration Manager, Product Data Manager, and Director of Logistics supporting the Marine Corps Program Office for Light Armored Vehicles at the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM). He also served as a Logistics Subject Matter Expert supporting government and commercial clients through Control Point Corporation and Troika Solutions, LLC.
Through BMO Logistics LLC, Bob provides life cycle logistics consulting, maintenance management support, sustainment planning, readiness analysis, technical writing, and logistics process improvement services. His approach focuses on helping organizations understand the factors that influence asset performance, availability, reliability, and sustainment throughout the entire life cycle of equipment, facilities, and machinery.
By assessing current-state logistics operations and support processes, BMO Logistics helps clients identify risks, improve readiness, optimize resource utilization, and develop practical, executable solutions that support mission and operational success. The company combines decades of hands-on maintenance experience, executive-level logistics leadership, and data-driven analysis to develop solutions that are both practical and sustainable.
